Freemasons’ Project at Sir J J Hospital

On 26th December, 2022, the Scottish Freemasons presented medical equipment to the Geriatric and Paediatric Wards of Sir J J Hospital through its Benevolent Committee and Ladies Wing. On the occasion, the Dean of the Hospital, Dr. Pallavi Saple expressed gratitude for the donation and hoped this kind assistance would continue in the future too. Also present were Head of the District Grand Lodge of India (Scottish Constitution) Kersi Limathwalla, Secretary Noshir Paghdiwalla, Chairman of Benevolent Committee – Kersi Commissariat and Chairperson of Ladies Wing – Zarine Commissariat.

Freemasonry, an ancient institution dating back to 1500s, renders philanthropic services, beyond promoting amity, fellowship and brotherhood in society. Scottish Freemasons has been at the forefront in recent times, during and after the pandemic, to alleviate human suffering through its lodges across India.
