On 4th March, 2023, a unique ‘Funky Fusion Fashion Show’, sponsored by Durand Forms India, was organised, as part of the Ruby Anniversary celebrations of the Mancherji Edalji Joshi Memorial Trust, commemorating their 40th Festival of Spring fête.
Held at the J B V Vatcha School, this one-of-its-kind Fashion Show received a large number of entries and equally enthusiastic and creative participants, who were required to dress in the most outlandish costumes! The audience witnessed way-out designs as the contestants walked down the ramp, totally mismatched, outrageous, and hilarious, in keeping with the theme.
The judges at the show were the elegant model – Mehr Jesia; the show-stopping beauty queen and industrialist – Yasmin Mistry and Khushnuma Khambatta, who owns her own fashion label.
The Fashion Show was an amazing visual treat and made for a rollicking evening filled with fun and frolic – bringing immense joy to both – the participants and the audience.
