Animation professional and manga creator, Jazyl Homavazir, has been selected as one of the five esteemed jury members for the Comic Creators Championship, organized by MEAIndia and GoI, to be held from 1^st to 4^th May, 2025, at the World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025, at Jio Gardens. The Comics Creator Championship, a flagship initiative under the ‘Create in India Challenge’, by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, aims to discover and elevate emerging Indian talent in the comics space. Jazyl will also co-judge the prestigious WAM Awards, recognizing excellence across the Indian animation, comics, and visual storytelling landscape.

Jazyl brings to the panel a rich legacy of innovation in manga and animation. As the creator of ‘The Beast Legion’ – India’s first and longest-running web manga, he has been a pioneer in anime-inspired digital storytelling. The webcomic, which recently won the coveted ANN Award, has captivated fans for over a decade with its dynamic art style and compelling narratives.
