At the Lions International District Convention, held on 13^th April, 2025, Lion Feroze Katrak MJF was elected District Governor of Lions District 3231-A1 (India’s first Lions District since 1956), for 2025–2026, securing an overwhelming 131 out of 133 votes. In his acceptance speech, he thanked God, his family and fellow Lions for their unwavering support.

Emphasizing unity, transparency and youth empowerment, he outlined his focus areas: good governance, Leos, Old Age Homes, Childhood Cancer, Vision and Animal Welfare. True to his values, he recently launched the Leo Club of St. Xavier’s High School and chartered two new clubs – Lions Club of SOBO Youth and Lions Club of Mumbai Legacy.

A dedicated Lion since 1989, Lion Feroze previously served as President of the Lions Club of Byculla, setting fundraising records and implementing projects worth over ₹3.5 crores. A recipient of numerous awards, including the ‘100 Most Impactful Corona Warriors’, he brings rich professional experience from a 31-year tenure at ICICI. His chosen motto for the year, ‘Transforming Lives’, reflects his deep commitment to service. He will officially take oath at the Lions International Convention in Orlando, USA, in July 2025.
