The Mahuva Parsi Anjuman celebrated the inauguration of its renovated Dadgah Saheb with much pomp on 17^th March, 2025, with a sacred Ijashnee ceremony performed in the morning by two Dasturjis from Surat, who also shifted the revered Atash Padshah to its newly renovated Dadgah Hall.

A grand Jashan ceremony was performed in the evening, led by Malesar Behdin Anjuman’s Panthaki Dasturji Firdaus Karkaria, along with Dasturjis – Keki Dastur, Burjor Aibara and Zubin Rabadi from Surat. The festivities continued at the Maneckwadi Hall, where President Hosi Bajina warmly welcomed all the guests, including trustees from various Anjumans across South Gujarat.

Trustee Dr. Mogal introduced the evening’s Chief Guests – Dinshaw Tamboly, Firdaus Anklesaria, and Guest of Honor – Sam Chothia of Valsad Parsi Anjuman. Dinshaw Tamboly delivered an inspiring address, expressing his confidence in the youth and urging them to work diligently and engage in community activities. Anklesaria’s message emphasized the importance of faith in our religion. Sam Chothia encouraged the audience to cherish their mother tongue, Gujarati, and incorporate it into their daily lives.

Dr. Hosang Mogal shared a brief history of the Mogal family and launched his book, ‘The History of Mogal Family’, which was unveiled by Dinshaw Tamboly. Shehan Bajina gave the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to dignitaries, guests, volunteers, and well-wishers for their support. The evening concluded with a rendition of ‘Chhaye Ame Jarthosti’ and the national anthem, followed by a scrumptious dinner catered by Navsari’s Soonu Kasad.
