The grand reopening of the newly renovated Seth Pirojsha Godrej Community Hall, on 30^th March, 2025, marked a significant milestone for Vadodara’s Parsi community, celebrating its legacy and spirit of unity. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome from the Panchayat President, Phiroz Patel, who welcomed Chief Guest, Dinshaw Tamboly, President – World Zoroastrian Organisation (WZO), and his wife, Bachi Tamboly. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was followed by a formal felicitation of Mr. Tamboly.

In his address, Phiroz Patel reflected on the rich history of the Panchayat and the vibrant Parsi community in Vadodara. Over 325 community members attended, listening intently to Dinshaw Tamboly’s inspiring speech, applauding his invaluable contributions to the community. During the ceremony, special recognition was given to key contributors to the renovation, including Dinyar Engineer and Cyrus N. Bhesania.

Originally constructed in 1985-86, the hall was made possible by a generous Rs. 3,00,000/- donation from the Pirojsha Godrej Foundation. The newly refurbished hall now boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including air-conditioned rooms and a spacious main hall. The event concluded with gratitude extended to all contributors, followed by a traditional Gambhar, reinforcing the community’s spirit of togetherness and celebration.
