The Gamadia Colony Welfare Association (GCWA) hosted its Jashan on 17^th May, 2025, at Cama Baug’s Big Otla, with prayers led by colony priests Er. Neville and Er. Jehan Raimalwala. The evening was graced by Chief Guest and BPP Chairman – Viraf Mehta, along with Justice (Retd.) Shahrukh Kathawala, MLA and Cabinet Minister, Adv. Mangal Prabhat Lodha, BJP Parsi Cell President – Rumy Zarir and other dignitaries, all were felicitated by GCWA committee.

Awards for academic excellence were presented to Khurshid Workingboxwala (94% in Std. X) and Yohaan Tampal (81% in HSC). Outgoing GCWA President, Dolly Kotwal, was warmly thanked for her years of service, while Benaifer Mehta received a warm welcome as the new President. A special moment was the felicitation of colony-help – Ganesh Sonawane for completing 15 years of dedicated service to the colony.

Entertainment included a lively dance performance titled ‘Bollywood in a Nutshell’ by Afreen Irani, choreographed by Nitin Nair, and performed by Gamadia Colony’s Summer Games Group. Dinner by Jimmy Gadiwala concluded the well-organised event which blended tradition, appreciation and celebration of community spirit.
