S’pore’s Zoro House Rings In 14 Years of Community Bonding

The Zoroastrian community in Singapore came together to celebrate the 14th anniversary of their Zoroastrian House, in a weekend filled with warmth, tradition and camaraderie, on 26th April, 2025. Organised by PZAS (Parsi Zoroastrian Association of Singapore), the festivities burst into action with a high-energy children’s event led by Hoshaang Gotla, founder of XYZ, and supported by enthusiastic committee members. Packed with fun and interactive leadership games, the event had kids and parents buzzing with excitement – and it all wrapped up with fun and laughter, on a delicious note.

The celebrations continued the following morning with a well-attended Khushali-nu-Jashan followed by an engaging and insightful presentation by the Guest of Honour, Hoshaang Gotla, on the activities of XYZ, which was very well received by all. In appreciation of his contributions, the PZAS committee presented him with a special token of gratitude. BPP Chairman – Viraf Mehta also graced the occasion, adding to the celebrations.

The event concluded with a hearty, delish in-house meal prepared by dedicated volunteers. With over 100 attendees, the celebration reflected the strength, unity and enduring spirit of Singapore’s Zoroastrian community. Here’s looking forward to even greater enthusiasm next year, as PZAS prepares to host the ‘World Zoroastrian Congress 2026’.
