On 1^st May, 2025 (Adar Mahino, Behram Roj), the Sir J J Adaryan, located in Adajan, Surat, marked the beginning of its 199^th year of devoted existence. Established and consecrated on 19^th June, 1827, by the illustrious philanthropist and first Indian knight, Mumbai’s late Sir Jamshetjee Jeejeebhoy, this revered place of worship continues to uphold its spiritual legacy with great care. The Adaryan is diligently maintained by Panthaki Er. Noshir Pirojsha Turel and his son, Er. Yezdi Turel, both known for their dedication and religious expertise.

To commemorate this auspicious occasion, an evening Jashan ceremony was performed by Er. Yezdi Turel and Er. Kersi Amrolia, drawing a large gathering of community members who came to offer their respects to Atash Padshah Saheb. Following the ceremony, the young Er. Farman Sarosh Dastur eloquently explained the significance and spiritual importance of the Jashan.

The evening concluded with the distribution of chasni and refreshments prepared by Shiraz Dastur, offered at concessional rates, adding warmth and hospitality to a memorable and spiritually enriching celebration.
