Dr. Farokh Master Awarded Prestigious UK Fellowship

Renowned homeopath Dr. Farokh J. Master (MD, PhD) has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the Society of Homoeopaths (UK), becoming only the second Indian recipient of this prestigious distinction. The accolade was conferred at the Society’s Annual General Meeting in London, following a worldwide nomination and rigorous selection process.

Founded in 1978, the Society of Homoeopaths champions excellence in homeopathic practice and strives to integrate homeopathy into mainstream healthcare. Today, it represents over 1,200 practitioners across the UK and beyond. Each year, its Fellowship recognizes individuals whose leadership, innovative research, teaching contributions or exceptional service to society have significantly advanced the profession.

Dr. Master’s selection criteria spotlighted his four decades of pioneering work – most notably his research on Iscador therapy, a mistletoe-based complementary cancer treatment. Earlier this year, in January, he was felicitated at the Second International Congress on Oncology for his contributions to palliative care, where he also served as a keynote speaker.

As Head of Palliative Oncology at KEM Hospital in Parel and Pune, Dr. Master oversees patient care, mentors young clinicians, and collaborates on integrative treatment protocols. He also consults at Sir H. N. Reliance Hospital, Bombay Hospital and Bai Jerbai Children’s Hospital.

With this Fellowship, Dr. Farokh Master cements his status as a global leader in homeopathy, reaffirming the field’s vital role in patient-centred medicine.
