President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared warm Navroz greetings with the Parsi Community on the occasion of the Parsi New Year via social media platforms.

“On the auspicious occasion of the Parsi New Year Navroz, I extend my warm greetings and best wishes to all fellow citizens, especially Parsi brothers and sisters,” shared President Murmu. PM Modi extended warm wishes on the commencement of the Parsi New Year, with, “Warm wishes on the commencement of the Parsi New Year! We are all proud of the enduring contributions of Parsis to our nation. May this year bring happiness, prosperity and good health to all. Navroz Mubarak!”

A number of other statespersons also greeted the community, including Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan, who shared: “Navroz which marks the first day of the Parsi New Year, reminds us of the immortal message of Good thoughts, good words and good deeds. I extend my heartiest greetings to the people of the State, especially to our Parsi sisters and brothers, on the occasion of Navroz and the Parsi New Year. May the New Year bring happiness, contentment, good health and prosperity to all.”
