At just eight years of age, Binaisha Adil Dastoor, from Pune, has etched her name in history as a double Guinness World Record holder, emerging as one of the youngest achievers on a global stage. On 30^th June, 2025, Binaisha officially set the World Record holder for two feats – ‘The Most Words Spelled Backwards In One Minute’ (Binaisha spelled 44 words); as well as ‘The Most Animals Identified From Their Scientific Names In One Minute’ (Binaisha identified 20 animals), in the Under-16 category. Achieving this feat with dazzling confidence and clarity, Binaisha’s talent, determination and love for words have already distinguished her as a prodigy in both, academics and literature.

Already an established young author, Binaisha has written three children’s books and holds the title of being the youngest author to have achieved this distinction at the age of eight. Her debut work, ‘Aurelya’s Magical Dream’, published globally by Bribooks, sold over 2,300 copies across India and overseas, earning her the recognition of the ‘Influencer Book of World Records’. Her second book, ‘When Ruby Meets Herself’, further showcased her flair for storytelling, capturing young imaginations with originality and charm.

Her extraordinary accomplishments go beyond literature. At the All India Kids Premier League Poetry Recitation, which saw participation from over 10,000 children, Binaisha excelled at every stage – she topped both qualifier rounds, stood among the top 10 semi-finalists, and went on to secure the 2^nd Runner-up position in the 6 – 8 years category at the national level.

At an age when most children are only beginning to explore the world, Binaisha has already etched her name in the annals of literature and achievement. For the Parsi community, her success is a source of immense pride, adding yet another shining example to the community’s enduring tradition of excellence and accomplishment.
