On 27th July, 2025, the Parsi/Zoroastrian community united in true sporting spirit for the much-awaited All Parsi Carrom and Table Tennis Tournament at Ava Baug Hall, Navsari. Organised by the Ava Baug Youth Club and supported by the Parsi Cultural Division of the S.B. Garda College Trust, with Parsi Times as Media Partner, the event saw a spirited turnout of nearly 80 participants from across Gujarat. Unlike last year’s rain-hit edition, this year’s tournament bounced back with energy and enthusiasm, bolstered by warm hospitality, including free meals and accommodation for all outstation players.

The tournament featured various Table Tennis and Carrom categories, and fierce competition and much cheering for the favourites. Finally, the triumphant ones walked away with the trophies for their brilliant display of skill and sportsmanship. Notable winners included Farzan Malesaria who walked away with double wins – in the Men’s Singles and Doubles Table Tennis events; and Zinobia Khan, who excelled in the Carrom Girls’ Singles and Doubles categories.
