Swimming prodigy Khaiz Cyrus Gheewala made waves at the prestigious Greater Mumbai Amateur Aquatics Association (GMAAA) meet, breaking records in both the 200m and 100m Breaststroke events. Held recently at Somaiya Sports Complex, Khaiz stunned audiences with his power and precision. Representing Mumbai, he followed this with a medal haul at the Maharashtra State Swimming Time Trials (19 – 21 July, 2025), earning podium finishes in the 200m Breaststroke, 400m IM, and 200m IM, and contributing to gold-winning relay teams. Khaiz will go on to represent Maharashtra at the Junior Nationals in Ahmedabad. The son of overjoyed parents – Meher and Cyrus Gheewala, Khaiz is a student of JSS International School, Dubai, and its Sports Captain. He credits his family, school and mentors for his success.

Table tennis talent Delfryn Kaizad Jogi, from Hills’ High School, Surat, proved her mettle at the 3^rd Gujarat State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, held in Anand, from 10 – 13 July, 2025. Competing in the Hopes Under-9 Girls category, Delfryn clinched a well-earned bronze medal. Trained at the Spin Academy in Surat, this rising star has shown remarkable skill and determination at a young age.

Academic topper Sanaaya Marazban Besania, from Delhi Public School, Surat, emerged as the Humanities stream topper in the CBSE Class 12 Board Exams with an impressive 96.6% aggregate. Honoured with the Nalanda Merit Scholarship of ₹1 lakh, Sanaaya credited self-study, teacher support, and her proud parents, Marazban and Arnavaz Besania, for her achievement. Her message: “You don’t have to feel ready to begin – you just have to begin!”
