Kurush Wadia Powers Through Hyrox

On 7th September, 2025, Panthaky Baug resident Kurush Wadia added a new chapter to his sporting journey by completing the Hyrox Mumbai challenge, an internationally recognized fitness race that blends endurance with functional strength.

Hyrox is known as one of the world’s most demanding formats: eight rounds of one-kilometre runs, each followed by punishing workout stations, including SkiErg sprints, sled pushes and pulls, burpee broad jumps, rowing, kettlebell carries, sandbag lunges and a final set of wall balls. Tackling this format for the first time, Kurush crossed the finish line in an impressive 1 hour 48 minutes. This achievements reflects his athletic strength built over years of discipline, preparation and determination.

At 42, Kurush balances his career at LTIMindtree Limited with a passion for endurance sports. An avid runner and cyclist, he has competed in multiple triathlons and now devotes time to coaching amateur athletes. Reflecting on his journey, Kurush shares the motto that drives him: “I don’t want to only cross finish lines. I want to model the willingness to start.” He credits his achievements to his family comprising his mother, wife and daughter, who remain his constant support.
