Navsari witnessed a proud cultural moment with the launch of the Navsari Heritage Trail Map Brochure at the J.N. Tata Memorial Hall. The soft launch was carried out by Union Minister Shri C.R. Patil, followed by a spirited children’s mini cyclathon that added youthful energy to the event.

The Trail Map, conceptualized and designed by heritage enthusiast and artist Ruzbeh Umrigar, brings alive the city’s rich legacy. Umrigar worked closely with the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) and the ParZor Foundation to create a map that highlights Navsari’s historical treasures while making them accessible to future generations.

This milestone rests on years of dedicated research and documentation by cultural stalwarts. Author Marzban Giara, WZO’s Dinshaw Tamboli, Dara and Kersi Deboo, and Dr. Shernaz Cama of ParZor Foundation have each contributed significantly to the knowledge that shaped the brochure. Their collective efforts laid the foundation for an initiative that finally took shape under the Navsari Municipal Corporation, supported by its commissioner, IAS Dev Chaudhary.
