Eleven-year-old sharpshooter Kian Firdosh Bacha, grandson of a 1971 war veteran, continues to make his mark in air rifle shooting. Representing the U-14 boys’ category, Kian clinched first place at the District Level Interschool Open Sight Air Rifle Competition held at Tolani College from 22^nd – 24^th September, followed by a remarkable second place at the Zonal Level Championship held from 28^th September to 2^nd October at Prabhodhankar Thackeray Krida Sankul.

An alumnus of Maneckji Cooper Education Trust School, Kian is coached by international-level trainers – Snehal and Jitesh Kadam. A multi-talented athlete, he also shines in football, athletics, swimming and table tennis. Kian now sets his sights on the State Level Championship in Nagpur, seeking sponsorship to support his sporting journey.
