Nilufer Shroff Receives ACUA Award

Nilufer K. Shroff has been honoured by the Association of College and University Auditors (ACUA) with its Outstanding Professional Contributions Award, recognising her exceptional leadership and service in higher education auditing. The award was presented at ACUA’s annual AuditCon inKentucky, USA, in September 2025, before a 475-strong audience representing colleges and universities across the US and Canada, including her husband, Khushroo, and son, Rohan.

This recognition highlights Nilufer’s distinguished career at Princeton University, where she most recently served as Vice President and Chief Audit and Compliance Officer. Her tenure was marked by strong team-building, effective oversight and an enduring commitment to institutional accountability. Her work helped strengthen Princeton’s culture of transparency and excellence.

Nilufer has also made significant contributions to the Zoroastrian community in North America. A long-time member and past officer of ZAPANJ(Zoroastrian Association of Pennsylvania and New Jersey), she has helped foster community engagement, organise events and mentor young Parsis and Iranis. She has also served as Treasurer of FEZANA, boostingits financial stability and growth.

Admired for her warmth, humility and collaborative spirit, Nilufer’s felicitation with the ACUA award stands as a meaningful tribute to her lifelong dedication to service, leadership and integrity.
