The XYZ Leadership Camp 2025 brought together 55 energetic participants – XYZ kids, office bearers, volunteers and seniors – for two days of learning, bonding and adventure at Nature Trails, Durshet, Khopoli, from 1^stto 2^ndNovember, 2025. Travel arrangements were efficiently managed by Shahazad Gandhi of Shahazad Enterprises.

Participants were divided into five teams based on leadership roles, building healthy competition through teamwork. The camp opened with interactive ice-breaker activities that helped participants recognise personal strengths, improve communication and develop trust.

The first afternoon focused on practical leadership skills. Through an engaging activity using paper cups and XYZ’s own currency, participants explored budgeting, banking, planning and resource allocation. Later, participants took on ziplining and an obstacle course to develop focus and resilience, with rain only adding to the excitement with the group taking the opportunity to have a pool-party.

The evening campfire was the camp’s highlight as teams presented humorous skits based on quirky themes ranging from superheroes in Mumbai to world leaders on local trains. The performances showcased creativity, teamwork and spirited camaraderie.

Day 2 began with a nature trail and planting of five trees, reinforcing values of environmental care and enjoying at a scenic waterfall. A mindfulness session titled ‘The Power of Being Present’ followed, offering practical insights on awareness and calmness as leadership tools.Before the closing ceremony, teams brainstormed concepts for fundays, events and themes for 2026, including activities for Kids, Juniors, Seniors and the new Silvers group.

Participants were also briefed on the upcoming Annual Day and XYZ Xtravaganza, which will raise funds for senior citizens and old-age homes.The Presidents team earned the highest points even as every attendee returned home richer in leadership, empathy, friendship and memories to last for a lifetime!
