Nagpur’s class VIII student, Zerksis Major, secured a Bronze medal as part of the Maharashtra Roll Ball team, at the 18^thSub-Junior National Roll Ball Championship tournament held in Agra, from 25^th – 28^thOctober, 2025. A student at Centre Point School, Zerksis was the only Roll Ball player selected from Nagpur to represent the state. The Maharashtra team put up a strong performance, defeating competitors from Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Kerala, Puducherry and Telangana before advancing to the semi-finals. They displayed commendable effort against Rajasthan, concluding the championship in third place.

Ahead of the tournament, Zerksis trained intensively with the Maharashtra squad in Jalgaon. He credits his success to his school skating coach, Swapnil Samarth and the Centre Point School Sports Department for the encouragement. This milestone highlights Zerksis’ promising future in the sport and stands as a proud moment for his family and community.
