Demonstrating exceptional leadership and skill, Benaifer Zubin Sanjana, captain of the Women’s Football Team at Mithibai College of Arts, led her team to victory at the SVKM YUVA Sports Festival 2025–26 Inter-Collegiate Women’s Football Competition with an outstanding performance.

Displaying a commanding presence in midfieldand the ability to motivate her teammates under pressure, Benaifer guided her team through a challenging tournament to lift the Finals Trophy. Her consistent excellence through the matches also earned her the Individual Trophy for Best Midfielder of the Tournament.

The tournament reiterated the growing standard of women’s sport at the collegiate level. Benaifer’s achievement marks a proud moment for the college, the women’s sporting fraternity and our community!
