Teenage motorsport talent, Hoshmand Freddy Elavia, a resident of Godrej Baug and a Sports Management student at IISM World, delivered a commendable performance at the Precision Play 4 Hill Climb and Qualifier Round 2, of the Indian National Hill Climb Championship, held over the last weekend at Kamshet, near Pune.
The two-day event marked the final race weekend of the season and saw Hoshmand competing across multiple competitive categories. On 27th December, 2025, during the Precision Play 4 Hill Climb, he enjoyed a highly successful outing, securing podium finishes in all three categories he entered. He placed second in the Amateur up to 1450cc category, second in Amateur Open, and third in the Pro 1150cc to 1450cc category. The next day’s INHCC Qualifier Round 2 presented a tougher field. Rising to the occasion, Hoshmand finished second in the Pro 1150cc to 1450cc category and secured fifth place in the Indian Open class.
These results add to a string of achievements in 2025. In November, he claimed first place at the Precision Play 3 Hill Climb in the car category up to 1400cc. He also impressed at Generation Speed, winning the Amateur Class up to 1400cc and finishing second runner-up in the 1401–1600cc category, and earlier, he captured the overall title at the Indikarting Pro Races Season 6 in the Pro Senior category.
Training since 2016 under Rayomand Banajee of Rayo Racing, and a student of Mumbai’s Wilson College, Hoshmand looks ahead to the next racing season with ambition and focus in the new year.
