Eleven-year-old sharpshooter, Kian Firdosh Bacha, won a Gold medal at the Khasdar Krida Mahotsav 2025, held at Andheri Sports Complex. Competing in a strong field, he scored 305 out of 400. The tournament, organised under the patronage of MP Ravindra Waikar and aligned with the Fit India Khelo India initiative, attracted nearly 800 young athletes across disciplines. Kian was felicitated at the awards ceremony on 23^rd January, 2026, held to mark the 100^th birth anniversary of Shri Balasaheb Thackeray. He was also seen with MP Ravindra Waikar and his great-grandfather, Retd Lt Col A D Eduljee, a 1971 war veteran, underscoring a legacy of discipline and service.

Kian earlier secured first place at the District Level Interschool Open Sight Air Rifle Competition in the Under-14 boys category, and followed it with a second place finish at the Zonal Level Championships. An alumnus of Maneckji Cooper Education Trust School, he also excels in football, athletics, swimming and table tennis.
