The spirit of togetherness, friendly competition and healthy living will come alive this Republic Day as XYZ’s much-awaited Athletic Meet 2026 takes centre stage on Sunday, 26^th January, 2026, at the University Sports Pavilion, Marine Drive.

Envisioned as a joyful and inclusive sporting celebration, the event welcomes participation across generations. Juniors, Kids, Seniors, Parents, Volunteers and Silvers will all find their moment in the spotlight. From charming toddler races and high-energy children’s sprints to engaging parents’ events and thoughtfully designed activities for seniors, the day promises laughter, bonding and plenty of memorable moments.

At the heart of the Athletic Meet lies a strong focus on participation. While medals and races add excitement, the deeper purpose shines through in families cheering together, children discovering sportsmanship, seniors embracing movement, and the community gathering in an atmosphere of warmth and encouragement.

A wide range of track and field races, novelty events, relays and team challenges have been curated with attention to safety, fairness and enjoyment. Separate events for boys and girls, along with mixed relays and group activities, further strengthen the spirit of inclusivity. Participants will be well taken care of, with transportation, lunch and evening snacks arranged, making it a truly wholesome day-long experience.
