Malcolm Baug came alive on 15^th February, 2026, as residents, community members and friends gathered for the much-awaited, annual Malcolm Baug Fun Fair. Showcasing the colony’s vibrant community spirit, the event opened on an inspiring note, inaugurated by Tanya Balsara, whose personal journey of resilience and service for others added depth and meaning to the day’s celebrations. Valued long-time Media Partner Parsi Times played a significant role in amplifying its reach and visibility, ensuring the celebration resonated beyond the venue.

The fair featured an impressive array of stalls, drawing steady crowds through the afternoon. Visitors explored Parsi religious articles, elegant garas, western and ethnic wear, jewellery, wooden artefacts, pottery, household essentials and thoughtfully curated gifts. A garden nursery added a touch of green to the venue, while an NGO showcasing handcrafted books and bags received warm appreciation for its creative and purposeful work.

Children brought infectious energy to the fairgrounds, enjoying the bouncy castle, games and candy floss. Food counters, run by colony residents, proved to be a major attraction, offering traditional fare, fast food and desserts, catering to every taste. A touching highlight was the massage booth managed by visually impaired and physically challenged individuals. The initiative received wholehearted community encouragement, standing out as a reminder of inclusion and dignity.

The evening concluded with a spirited Karaoke Night, where enthusiastic performances, applause and laughter carried the celebrations forward. With an impressive turnout across age groups, the Fun Fair was indeed a resounding success, strengthening bonds, celebrating talent, togetherness and community camaraderie.
