The XYZ Foundation marked a memorable milestone on 4^thFebruary, 2026, with the first-ever picnic of its newly launched ‘XYZ Silvers’ group, an initiative created to celebrate life, companionship and active living after 55. Seventy enthusiastic members, aged between 60 and an inspiring 90 years, set out together on a cheerful bus ride to Kisan Ecofarm in Shahapur, setting the tone for a day filled with warmth, bonding and vitality.

From the first notes of music, the atmosphere came alive, with senior members leading the dance floor with boundless energy and infectious smiles. Their spirited participation dissolved age barriers, replacing them with laughter, freedom and shared joy. A touching highlight of the day was the celebration of a couple’s 35^thwedding anniversary, marked amid applause, music and heartfelt camaraderie, underscoring the value of enduring bonds.

The picnic unfolded with lively music, animated conversations, delicious food and moments that quickly turned into treasured memories. Every participant proudly sported the specially designed XYZ Silvers cap, a simple keepsake that symbolised belonging and pride.

The spirit of the day was best captured in the words of the participants themselves. Firoza Bhot shared, “Thanks to the organisers for arranging this flawless picnic. Met so many new people and best of all, I was thrilled to bump into my school and hostel friends after nearly 30 to 40 years! Hope to enjoy more such events with XYZ.”Shernaz Hathiram thanked XYZ Founder, Hoshaang Gotla for, “making us Silvers feel young again” and for “a great time with other like-minded Silvers.
