The 135-year-old Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Parsee Charitable Institution (BJPCI) has been honoured with the prestigious Savitri-Fatima Adarsh School Award 2026 by Shikshak Bharati, Government of Maharashtra. The recognition follows the institution’s outstanding performance at the district-level Science Exhibition, where it secured the Best School Award.
BJPCI’s commitment to academic excellence was further affirmed in the state-wide School Quality Assessment and Assurance Framework (SQAAF) survey for 2024–2025, where the institution earned an impressive A+ accreditation. In addition, BJPCI has been ranked among the Top 40 Schools in Maharashtra for 2026, with its achievements officially listed on the government website for public access.
At the national level, the institution received recognition from Education World in the Vintage Legacy Co-Ed Day School category, acknowledging its longstanding contribution to quality education.
BJPCI has also gained distinction for its commitment to heritage preservation. The restoration of its century-old campus, undertaken under the guidance of renowned conservation architect Vikas Dilawari, received the Award of Merit at the 2024 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation.
These achievements reflect the dedication and vision of the institution’s trustees, faculty and students, as well as the continued support of the Alumni Association of the BJPC Institution. Together, they ensure that BJPCI continues to uphold its legacy while embracing innovation, strengthening its reputation as a centre of learning, leadership and community service.
