Residents of the Bai Maneckbai Chenoy Agiary complex in Hyderabad came together to celebrate Jamshedi Navroze and Avan Yazad Parab with devotion and community spirit. On 20th March, a beautifully arranged Haft-Seen table was set up at the Agiary hall, marking the advent of spring. Each of the 40 families contributed an item, ensuring wholehearted participation.

The congregation gathered at the precise moment of the Vernal Equinox. Head Priest Er. Burzin Dastur led prayers with the Dua Tandarosti, invoking blessings for all, followed by melodious monajats. Farida Antia explained the significance of the prayer and urged members to remember and pray for the well-being of the Iranian community during challenging times. Fram Desai gave the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Agiary Trustees; Secretary – Rusi Doctor; Head Priest Er. Burzin Dastur and Farida Antia and Agiary helpers, Percy and Vispy. The evening concluded with a collective rendition of ‘Chaiye Hame Zarthosti’ followed by refreshments and exchanging warm Navroze greetings.

On 22^nd March, residents assembled again at the Agiary’s holy well after the Avan Yazad Parab Jashan, led by Er. Burzin Dastur, followed by Humbandagi and partaking of Chasni and the traditional Dar-ni-pori.
