The Zoroastrian Stree Mandal, Secunderabad marked International Women’s Day with its inaugural Sunset Soirée, at the Parsi Dharamshala, creating an evening of celebration, connection and community spirit. Adding a unique twist, the soirée featured live screening of the T20 World Cup final between India and New Zealand, drawing enthusiastic cheers from cricket lovers, while children enjoyed games and activities.

Interactive workshops and on-the-spot competitions ensured engaging participation across age groups. Guests also explored a variety of food and shopping stalls, enjoying snacks, beverages and a relaxed festive atmosphere. Music played a central role, with DJ Edward setting the mood and a spirited performance by Zervan Lakdawalla energising the crowd.

Popular attractions included raffle draws, Housie and Hoopla, all of which contributed to the evening’s vibrant energy. The event was organised under the leadership of Daisy Chenoy, with support from volunteers, the Managing Committee and emcees Parvez Baria and Shazneen Wadia.
