The word miracle conjures thoughts of holy people and God. In ancient times, people felt deeply connected to the Divine, believing it enabled extraordinary acts and sacred communion. Where faith, purity and sincerity exist, grace follows. Miracles still unfold in our lives, yet we rarely pause to notice them. Absorbed in routine and distraction, we overlook signs of higher guidance, often dismissing them as mere coincidence instead of gratitude-worthy moments.
Jeroo boarded the 8:27 am train every day, sharing familiar smiles with fellow commuters. One morning, a neighbour’s emergency delayed her. Later, she learned that the very train she usually took had derailed. A shaken friend called to say how fortunate she had been. Jeroo quietly felt it was more than luck. Something unseen had protected her.
Years later, Shiraz returned to his ancestral village home. In the courtyard stood the once modest mango tree, now heavy with fruit. Memories of his grandfather gathering neighbours to share the harvest flooded back. Overcome with longing, he watched as monkeys suddenly appeared and shook the tree, sending mangoes tumbling down. Within minutes they vanished. Standing amid the scattered fruit, Shiraz felt certain it was a loving sign from his grandfather, assuring him he was never alone.
Miracles Are Beacons Of Care And Hope… They soften the blows of life. Hard times can make people tough to the extent that compassion, empathy, and humanity might be imperilled. At such times, people need to pause and realise their purpose in life. They give renewed hope where there was none. Sometimes people stop truly living and simply endure, as Aban once did. After her long-awaited marriage ended in the heartbreak of a stillborn child, she questioned everything, even the Divine. Her relationship faltered and hope dimmed. Gradually, she chose faith over despair and she discovered that she was expecting again. She held on to the belief that all would go well this time and birthed healthy twins. They were truly her miracle children! Miracles assure you of divine presence, they make you realise there is someone looking after you even in the darkest of times. You no longer feel alone in the world.
It’s never too late to start your connect to your Higher self and the Divine
Take time out to remember and feel close to any Divine energy that you connect to. You can think of it as just pure light, a sound or any form that you feel comfortable visualizing. Feel as if you can speak with it and express yourself. Feel a sense of peace as if you have emptied your heart out to someone who listens to you.
Bask in the light and energy that blesses you with a feeling of caring and love. The energy protects and understands the purity of your heart and thoughts.
Show humility and express your gratitude for all that you get and will keep on getting in your lives, as you are just a mere speck in the vastness of the universe.
Try to maintain purity of heart. Try and follow the path of “good thoughts, good words and good deeds”. When the vessel is pure, the energy bestowed upon you, which becomes yours, will also remain pure. A tainted vessel will only contaminate the pure energy.
Belief and faith can bring about the biggest miracles. These qualities reside within us. Therefore, your body is your temple in its truest sense.
For true magic to happen, it is the heart that must believe and trust, not only the head. Start today. Think of the miracles that have taken place in your life at different stages. Did you just brush them off as coincidences and luck? Or did you feel that was the Divine communing with you and intervening on your behalf to show that you mattered, and that someone up there looks after you? Wishing everyone Jamshedi Navroz Mubarak for a year filled with miracles!
