The WZCC Mumbai Chapter celebrated International Women’s Day with an engaging evening, bringing together community members to honour the achievements and leadership of women. The event was graced by Mumbai’s Mayor, Madam Ritu Rajesh Tawde, who was introduced by Lion Dr. Neville Mehta. She delivered an inspiring address, stressing the need for greater participation of women in leadership and collective efforts towards building an inclusive society.

The program featured a keynote address by Homai Daruwalla, who shared valuable insights on empowering women to excel in today’s competitive environment. Capt. Percy Master, Global President – WZCC, and Adv. Zerick Dastur also addressed the gathering, underlining the importance of recognising women’s contributions. Daara Patel, Chairman, WZCC Mumbai, stated that WZCC remains committed to creating platforms that inspire, connect and celebrate excellence within the community, contributing to its growth and development. A lively question and answer session, moderated by Havovi Patel, added depth to the discussions.
