Young Rathestars Exhibition Sparks Entrepreneurial Spirit

Dadar’s Sorab Palamkote Hall came alive with colour, creativity and community spirit on 28th February, 2026, as Young Rathestars hosted its popular, annual 2-day, exhibition-cum-sale, which attracted large crowds who gathered to explore a vibrant marketplace and support budding entrepreneurs from the community.

Over 70 exhibitors occupied 141 stalls, creating an atmosphere filled with Parsipanu warmth. Visitors browsed through a range of products that combined heritage with contemporary creativity. Intricately embroidered Parsi garas and elegant sadras drew admiration alongside handcrafted paraphernalia including decorative frames and home décor pieces, clothing, accessories and artistic showpieces which reflected traditional craftsmanship and modern design sensibilities. Most popular were the food stalls which added flavour to the festive gathering, offering homemade snacks and goodies.

The exhibition fortified Young Rathestars’ commitment to encouraging Parsi entrepreneurship. Over the years, it has created opportunities for individuals to showcase their talents and transform creativity into meaningful income. This year’s exhibition highlighted impressive craftsmanship, originality and dedication among stall holders.

The evening’s Chief Guest, ACP Cyrus Boman Irani, attended with his wife and daughter and congratulated the exhibitors for their enthusiasm and hard work. He also praised Young Rathestars for creating a platform that promotes enterprise and community engagement. A highlight of the evening was the felicitation of meritorious students from the Dadar vicinity, recognising their academic achievements. These included from J.B.Vachha High School (ICSE): Ziana Firdosh Anklesaria (96.2%); Merzina Mehernosh Irani (95.8%); Parizia Behram Panthaky (95.8%); from Dadar Parsi Youth Assembly High School – Kayomarz Yezdi Dhabhar (95.2%); and from Dadar Athornan Institute Sarosh Khushru Bharucha (93%).

President Arnavaz Mistry, Vice President Homiyar Doctor and Treasurer Yassmin Mistry reflected on the organisation’s legacy of service since 1942 and extended early Navroz greetings to all present. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Joint Secretary Anahita Dhalla, bringing the exhibition to a warm and celebratory close.
