Over the years, the Zoroastrian Trust Funds of India (ZTFI) has undertaken several initiatives aimed at supporting individuals and families within the community. As part of its continuing efforts to create meaningful opportunities, ZTFI felt the need to develop a platform that would encourage and support small and home-based entrepreneurs within the community.

Many members of our community – particularly ladies and individuals working from home, possess impressive skills in preparing homemade food items, creating handicrafts, producing handmade articles and offering a variety of unique products. However, they often lack the opportunity and visibility to showcase their work to a wider audience. The ‘ZTFI Community Bazaar’ has therefore been conceptualized to provide exactly such a platform.

The Bazaar brings together several community entrepreneurs who will set up stalls to display and sell their products, including homemade delicacies like cutlets, patties, puffs, pickles and other traditional treats, alongside handmade items like torans, diva glasses, handicrafts, handloom articles and other creative products.

Through this initiative, ZTFI hopes to encourage and empower our entrepreneurs by giving them an opportunity to present their work, generate income and gain recognition for their efforts. At the same time, the Bazaar will create a lively and welcoming space, where community members can come together, interact, reconnect and support each other.

To make the day even more enjoyable, the event will also include exciting raffle draws and games for visitors. A 32-inch television will be featured as the main raffle prize, along with several lucky draw prizes. In addition, there will be two games of the ever-popular Housie with attractive prizes, adding an element of fun and entertainment for everyone attending the bazaar.

More than just a marketplace, the ZTFI Community Bazaar hopes to become a warm community gathering, where people meet, share and celebrate the spirit of togetherness that has always been a defining strength of the Parsi community.
