FOZAWAC Holds All-Parsis TT Tourney

The Federation of Zoroastrian Associations for Welfare and Culture (FOZAWAC) successfully concluded its flagship All-Parsis Tennis Tournament, held on 28th and 29th March, 2026, at Matunga Gymkhana, drawing top community talent across nine categories.

Erishe Solai and Cusrow Sadri dominated the tournament with Erishe Solai winning the Men’s Singles title from a draw of 64 and partnering with Khushnoor Pandey to win the Mixed Doubles. Erishe’s journey stands out, evolving from a 12-year-old beginner to junior winner, and now men’s singles champion. Cusrow Sadri proved scored a Triple Crown, winning Open Doubles (with Rokhshad Palkhiwalla), Veteran Singles and Veteran Doubles (with Firdaus Shroff). Firdaus Shroff also won the Senior Singles title and the Senior Doubles along with Rumi Printer. This is the tourney’s 15th year which saw the recently retired Formula 2 racing driver, Jehan Daruwala switching tracks to emerge as a semi-finalist in the Men’s open category.

In the Women’s circuit, Naheed Divecha claimed the Singles title after a competitive final against Khushnoor Pandey, while Rayhan Kapadia notched up the Junior Singles title. The event, supported by Tennis Secretary – Rohinton Dadyburjor, saw prizes awarded to winners by FOZAWAC President – Adi Mehta.
