Stepping into its 100th year with purpose and compassion, Homavazir’s 11th CBDA Scout Group marked the occasion with a meaningful act of service on 12th April, 2026. The scouts visited the B D Petit Parsi General Hospital, spreading warmth and care among patients in the free wards. Demonstrating the true spirit of scouting, they distributed essential items such as soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hand towels and biscuits to 35 underprivileged patients, wishing them a swift recovery and return to their families.
The gesture was met with heartfelt gratitude. Patients responded with smiles and blessings, while the ward staff extended full support, helping the scouts reach each individual, with ease and care. This ‘Good Turn’ was made possible through the generous contributions of kind parents including Dilber and Kayvan Bharucha, Arnavaz and Berges Bulsara, and Delnaz and Nadir Daji, whose support ensured the success of the initiative.
For the young scouts, the experience proved deeply fulfilling, reinforcing values of empathy and service. As they begin their centenary year, this simple yet powerful act set the tone for a journey rooted in kindness, responsibility and community spirit.
