A meaningful meeting of faith, community spirit and literature recently took place at the sacred Atashkadeh of the Zoroastrian Association of California (ZAC), highlighting the strong bonds shared by Zarathushtis across continents.

On 20^th May, 2026, Kerfegar Antia, Trustee of the Zoroastrian Anjuman of Secunderabad-Hyderabad (ZASH) and Vice Chairman & Managing Director of The People’s Cooperative Credit Society, visited the ZAC Atashkadeh along with wife Farida, and children Khushroo and Sanaea. An avid reader of Parsi Times and admirer of the popular exclusive ‘Pearls of Wisdom’ column, Kerfegar Antia expressed great happiness at personally meeting its esteemed columnist and writer, Er. Zarrir Bhandara, who serves as the dedicated Head Priest of ZAC.

The family spent a spiritually fulfilling time at the Atashkadeh and appreciated the warm hospitality extended by Er. Bhandara. Kerfegar Antia praised the dedicated services being rendered for the benefit of California’s Parsi Zoroastrian community. Farida Antia, author of the children’s book, ‘True Stories A Parsi Ought To Know’, gifted copies of the book to help younger members of the diaspora remain connected to our heritage and traditions. The visit reflected the continued spirit of community goodwill and connect shared among Zarathushtis across the world.
