Lion Feroze Katrak Elected Multiple Council Chairman for Lions District 3231

Lion Feroze Katrak PMJF was unanimously elected as the Multiple Council Chairman for 2026-27, at the recently concluded Lions International Annual Multiple District Convention held in Daman, from 1st  to 3rd May, 2026.

Multiple District 3231 comprises four districts, covering Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and extending from South Mumbai to Dahanu, including Raigad, Alibaug, Mahad, Karjat and Shahpur. With nearly 350 Lions Clubs under its ambit, the appointment marks a prestigious milestone. Lion Katrak also becomes the first Parsi to hold this position, with the last Chairman from District 3231 A1 elected over four decades ago, in 1986.

Currently serving as District Governor for 2025-26, Lion Katrak’s tenure has been marked by exceptional achievements under his theme ‘Transforming Lives’. His district recorded a remarkable 27% membership growth, chartered 10 new clubs and surpassed contributions to the International Foundation by over 2.5 times, raising approximately USD 66,000. Service initiatives crossed an impressive Rs. 33 crores, benefiting underprivileged communities across the region.

Key projects included securing a grant of USD 109,983 for Bai Jerbai Wadia Children’s Hospital, distribution of 255 bicycles to girl students in Dahanu and Palghar, and provision of 200 sewing machines to women in rural Maharashtra. His leadership also attracted multiple international dignitaries, including the International President, who visited the district twice and honoured Lion Katrak with the prestigious International President Medal.

Supported by his spouse Shiraz Katrak, who was recognised as Best Lion Ladies Auxiliary Chairperson, Lion Katrak now steps into a role focused on strengthening leadership, enhancing service impact, and driving unity and innovation across districts, setting the stage for impactful governance ahead.
