Testing the runners with humid conditions and a demanding course featuring multiple elevations, this 18th edition of the World Athletics Gold Label race featured over 35,000 participants, including elite international athletes, running a route starting and ending at the RSAOI Ground, with the main race hub at Manekshaw Parade Ground.

Leading the charge was Taronish Irani, who made a remarkable debut outside Mumbai. He finished 51st overall out of 15,850 runners and secured 16th place in his age category, clocking an impressive 36 minutes and 18 seconds. Having earlier secured a podium finish at the Tata Mumbai Marathon Open 10K, Taronish rose to the challenge of a tougher course with determination and grit.

Seasoned endurance athlete Burzin Engineer also delivered a standout performance, achieving a personal best time of 42 minutes and 49 seconds. He placed 292nd overall and 50th in his age category. Known for completing multiple Half Ironmans and a Full Ironman, Burzin continues to inspire many through his fitness venture, Tyrotransform.
