Zoroastrian Colony Hosts Hearing And Speech Camp

A free Hearing and Speech Screening Camp was held at the Zoroastrian Colony Medical Centre, in collaboration with the Zoroastrian Colony Youth Welfare Association (ZCYWA). Conducted by Vahishtai J Daboo, Founder and Principal Consultant of INTEGRTED, the initiative received an encouraging response from the community.

Participants ranged from 35 to 96 years of age, highlighting growing awareness about the importance of hearing and communication health. Attendees were guided on suitable solutions, including hearing aids and cochlear implants, based on individual assessments. The camp was supported by ZCMC Trustees Polly, Khusnuma and Benaifar Nagwaswalla, along with ZCYWA members Rumy Zarir and Dinaz Mojia, whose efforts ensured smooth coordination.

With the Parsi community representing a significantly aging population, Vahishtai Daboo and her team are committed to supporting the community through awareness, early identification and guidance, in order to make a meaningful difference in overall well-being and quality of life.
