WZCC’s Mumbai Chapter recently hosted an engaging meeting followed by high tea at the Radio Club, under the leadership of Chapter Chair – Lion Daara B. Patel. The highlight of the evening was an inspiring audio-visual presentation by renowned Hinduja Hospital surgeon, Dr. Murad Lala, titled From Scalpel To Summit. The presentation traced his remarkable journey from the discipline of surgery to successfully scaling Mount Everest, showcasing the rigorous preparation, training and determination required to conquer the world’s highest peak.

The audience remained captivated throughout the presentation, applauding Dr. Lala’s extraordinary story of resilience, ambition and achievement. His wife, Mamtha Lala, an avid mountaineer, also shared her experiences, adding to the inspiring session.

Dr. Murad Lala was introduced by Pilloo Aga, while Zarine Commissariat compered the programme. The event left members inspired by the power of perseverance and the belief that seemingly impossible goals can be achieved through dedication, preparation and unwavering determination.
