The Malcolm Baug Premier League (MBPL) 2026 delivered four action-packed days of football, camaraderie and sporting excellence as nearly 120 players took to the field from 16^th to 19^th July, 2026 at the Malcolm Baug Parsi Gymkhana. Presented by Zudio and co-sponsored by Super Strikers (Khoremand Irani and Aryohn Irani), the tournament proved to be one of the community’s most eagerly awaited sporting events.

The excitement began well before kick-off with the much-anticipated player auction, where ten team owners assembled balanced squads featuring a female player, two Under-18 players, a star player and a player above the age of 40. With participants ranging from 10 to 55 years of age, the tournament celebrated talent, inclusivity and inter-generational participation.

Adding an exciting strategic dimension, organisers introduced innovative match cards during the group stages. Teams could temporarily substitute an opposition player, swap goalkeepers, award double points to a teammate or activate a dramatic 15-second one-on-one challenge. These surprise twists kept every match unpredictable and spectators thoroughly engaged.

The tournament witnessed fierce competition among ten determined teams, with packed stands creating an electric atmosphere throughout the weekend. After a thrilling final that was decided on penalties, KF Dominators, owned by Niloufer Mistry and captained by Arzaan Panthaky, emerged champions, overcoming Unbeatable Strikers, owned by Robe-ab and led by Murzy Sukhia.

Individual honours were equally well deserved. Zeyan Zack was named Player of the Tournament and shared the Golden Boot with Vistasp. Other award winners included Shyna Daruwala (Best Female Player), Arzan Bhiwandiwala (Best Under-18 Player), Freya Pastakia (Best Star Player), Vistasp Edibam (Best Above-40 Player) and Kaiyan Patel (Golden Glove).
