Yet Another Podium Finish For Hoshmand Elavia

Teen motorsport sensation Hoshmand Freddy Elavia has added another impressive achievement to his growing list of accolades, securing second place in the ARCH Junior Category at the ARCH Rally, held on 25th and 26th July 2026 at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore.

The rally featured the unique challenge of a night qualifying session, where Hoshmand qualified eighth against a field of more powerful machinery, highlighting his pace, determination and exceptional driving skills. Partnering with co-driver Venu Rameshkumar V, he delivered a remarkable performance on rally day, leading the overall standings through the first four of six demanding stages.

A technical issue during Stage 5 prevented the duo from maintaining their overall lead, but they displayed tremendous resilience to finish second in the ARCH Junior Category with a total time of 1:42:03.300. Their success reflected outstanding teamwork, precision and composure under pressure. The achievement was also made possible through the dedicated efforts of the R-Tech Motorsports crew, whose meticulous preparation played a vital role.

Hoshmand’s latest podium continues an exceptional run of performances. Earlier this year, he finished on the podium at the 49th South India Rally in Chennai, claimed third place at the Indian National Hill Climb Championship Finals, and followed earlier victories at the Precision Play 3 Hill Climb Race, Generation Speed and the Indikarting Pro Races Season 6 Pro Senior Category.

A resident of Godrej Baug and a Sports Management student at IISM World, Marol, Hoshmand has trained under Rayomand Banajee of Rayo Racing since 2016. His consistent performances against some of India’s finest drivers continue to establish him as one of the country’s brightest young motorsport prospects, with many more milestones seemingly within reach.
