India Win ODI Series Against West Indies: A great performance by Team India helped Kohli and Co lift their sixth consecutive ODI trophy at home. Man of the Match, Ravindra Jadeja’s (4-34) in 9.5 overs coupled with Jasprit Bumrah’s (2-11) and Khaleel Ahmed’s (2-29), led India to their fifth and final ODI victory by nine wickets, winning the series 3-1 at Thiruvananthapuram. Winning the toss, the Windies elected to bat. But brilliant Indian bowlers pitched their deliveries perfectly to have the visitors collapse for 104 in 31.5 overs, with only Jason Holder scoring 25. In reply, India clinch a win Scoring 105-1. Rohit Sharma remained unbeaten on 63 while Indian skipper and Man of the Series, Virat Kohli was 33 not out. The day-night affair turned into a one-sided contest with only 46.4 overs played, making it the shortest completed 50 over ODI in India featuring the Indian team.

India-Pakistan Share Champions Trophy: Defending champions India and rivals Pakistan were joint winners at the fifth Asian Champions Trophy Hockey Tournament after the high intensity clash was called off due to heavy rain. India remain unbeaten in the tournament having topped the Round Robin stage with 13 points, comprising four wins and one drawn contest. Pakistan came second with 10 points.

Roger Federer Wins 99th ATP Title: Top tennis star Roger Federer added yet another title, claiming his 99th career ATP Tour Title after defeating Romanian Marius Copil 7-6 (7/5), 6-4 during the Swiss Indoors final at Basel. He won his 20th straight match and has played in 12 straight Basel finals.
