On 14 April, 2019, Mumbai gynecologist, Dr. Aspi Navroze Raimalwala, was awarded the ‘President Appreciation Award 2018-19’ for his valuable contribution to society, by the IMA Mumbai branch President, Dr. Salim Sachani, at a function in South Mumbai graced by Dr. Hozie Dara Kapadia – President IMA Maharashtra; Dr. Shivkumar Utture – President Maharashtra Medical Council; Dr. Anil Pachnekar – National VP, IMA.

This award marks the fourth IMA (Mumbai) felicitation for Dr. Raimalwala, who has been earlier awarded two ‘President Appreciation’ Awards for 2016-17 and 2017-18’; and ‘The Dr. AK Daftary Award 2017-18’. Speaking to Parsi Times, Dr. Raimalwala said, “When you are working or contributing for a cause, awards are just a byproduct which make you feel appreciated and motivate you to continue performing and serving with renewed zest in the future. From your increasingly popular ‘Parsi Times’, it is evident that more and more Parsi youth are excelling in various activities like sports, academics, social service, etc. at the national and international levels. They also need to take part in social activities to support the elderly and the less fortunate. I greatly appreciate the active part that the esteemed Parsi Times takes in promoting such activities.”
