The Bai Soonabai Hirji dar-E-Meher situated at Gowalia Tank celebrated its 204th Salgreh on 1st August, 2016. Being a weekday and ‘Behram Roj’, the flow of devotees started early morning. Attended by over fifty people, the function commenced with a Khushali-Nu-Jasan performed by Ervads Farshogar Madon, Shazad Arzani, Homyar Masani and Pervez Karanjia, followed by Humbandagi. A special reference was made about the Late Vada Dasturji Peshotan Mirza who was regular at the salgreh Jasans of this Agiary, and a two minute silence was observed as a mark of respect. All enjoyed a round of chasni fruits and malido. A contributory jasan was held at 5:00 pm.

Speaking to Parsi Times, wife of Panthaky of Soonabai Agiary, Mahrukh Pervez Madon said, “I’ve been through tough times, and it’s faith in God which showed me who my true relatives are. Through Parsi Times, I wish to thank all those who have been with my family in all these years”.
