On 19^th November, 2022, Prof. Dr. Delnaz Marzun Jokhi was conferred the prestigious Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Lifetime Achievement National Award by the International Institute for Social and Economic Reforms and Krist Foundation Bengaluru, for her contributions and excellence in the field of Teaching, Research and Publications.

Prof. Dr. Delnaz Jokhi teaches statistics at the J G College of Commerce, Ahmedabad for over two decades now, at both, undergraduate and post-graduate levels. Speaking on the occasion to PT, Dr. Delnaz said, “An award like this is a constant reminder that the divine is with you. It inspires me to do better for the students and the society at large. I’m extremely fortunate to be blessed with very supportive and encouraging family members.”

Dr. Delnaz Jokhi’s academic credentials include a Doctorate degree (2017) alongside a Masters and M.Phil in Statistics. She is a trustee at Ushta-te Foundation and an ex-committee member of the Ahmedabad Parsi Panchayat. She was felicitated for ‘Advanced Achievement in the field of Academics’ at the Iranshah Udvada Utsav (2017) by Smt. Smriti Irani – the current Minister of Women and Child Development of India.
