Yuzvendra Chahal’s Heroics Help India Clinch T20 Series: India rode on an outstanding bowling spell from Yuzvendra Chahal (6-25), and helped India beat England by a margin of 75 runs in the final T20. Choosing to bat first India notched up a mammoth 202-6 in 20 overs due to great efforts from Suresh Raina (63), Dhoni (56) and Yuvraj Singh’s cameo of 27 in 10. England started off on a confident note as Joe Root and skipper Eoin Morgan looked to build a partnership. After being comfortably placed at 119-3, the visitors lost their remaining 8 wickets scoring a mere 8 runs. Yuzvendra Chahal was well supported by Jasprit Bumrah who grabbed 3 wickets. Chahal was awarded the Man of the Match as well as the Man of the Series.

Suryakumar Yadav And Bravish Shetty Take Parsee Gymkhana Into Semi Finals: Brilliant batting performances from Suryakumar Yadav (129*) and Bravish Shetty (119*) helped Parsee Gym win by 8 wickets against Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in the Padmakar Talim Shield Cricket Tournament. Dr DY Patil Sports Academy put up 269-9 in their 45 overs as Sarvesh Damle top scored with 92. Balwinder Singh Sandhu (Jr) was the pick of the bowlers scalping 4-47. Further, team Parsee Gym reached their target in 42 overs and will now face Karnatak Sporting Association in the coming semi-finals.

Skipper Aditya Tare Helps Mumbai Reign Supreme Against Maharashtra: Aditya Tare’s 38 ball unbeaten 71, with 9 fours and 1 six helped Mumbai win by 6 wickets against rivals Maharashtra in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Tournament. Maharashtra put up a formidable 148-7 in their 20 overs. Rohan Raje (3-21) and Mumbai’s crisis man Abhishek Nayar (3-23) took 6 wickets amongst themselves. Team Mumbai made 152-4 in 18.4 overs thus overpowering their opponents. In the end along with Tare, Nayar remained not out on 20.
