26મી જાન્યુઆરી, 2020ના પ્રજાસત્તાક દિવસના રોજ, આંધ્ર પ્રદેશના રાષ્ટ્રીય કેડેટ કોપ્સ(એનસીસી) અને તેલંગણા ડિરેકટોરેટનું પ્રતિનિધિત્વ કરવા સિકંદરાબાદના 14 વર્ષીય કયોમર્ઝ ઇચ્છાપોરીયાની પસંદગી કરવામાં આવી હતી. પારસી છોકરાના એપી અને તેલંગાણા ડિરેકટોરેટનું પ્રતિનિધિત્વ કરતા હોવાના સમાચાર સાંભળીને આર્મી ચિફ પોતે જ કયોમર્ઝને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવા માટે આવ્યા હતા.
14-year-old Kayomarz Ichhaporia from Secunderabad was selected to represent the National Cadet Corps (NCC) of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Directorate, on Republic Day, 26th January, 2020. The Army Chief himself came up to share quick word of encouragement with Kayomarz, on hearing the news of a Parsi boy representing the AP and Telangana Directorate.
