Seventy-two year old, Viraf Panthaki has recently been appointed as the Manager of Team India for the ‘58th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship’, to be held from the 2nd to 8th September, 2016, in Bhutan. Viraf has been nine times Maharashtra state Champion, twice an ‘All India Interstate Champion’ and twice a ‘Runner-up’ at the ‘All India Interstate Championship’. He qualified as coach and referee for Power- lifting where he headed the Indian Powerlifting team for 4 world Championships to Ukraine, Italy, Finland and Japan. He has previously also been a judge at various International and National Body Building and Power Lifting Contest
