A. H. Wadia Baug Welfare Centre organized its Sports Day, ‘Wadia Baug Fun Sports’ on 18th November, 2016. The event included sports for all – races, lemon-and-spoon and book-balancing for children and games also for the middle-aged and senior citizens. The races for tots received great cheering by the onlookers. A new ‘marathon’ was introduced this year which included completing a full round of the colony. The fun finale, ‘Ribbon race’, won by the Cherezad team saw all 8 participants tied together at the waist and making it to the finishing line in sync! Shining gold, silver and bronze medals adorned many necks, while the ‘Rotating Trophy’ was awarded to twelve year old Biaanca Batliwalla.
